Kansas Senate Bill 98 (SB98) Provides a sales tax exemption for 20 years for the construction data centers in Kansas for the purchase of data center equipment, land, lease payments, and labor costs to qualified firms that commit to a minimum investment of at least $250 million dollars and creates 20 jobs. This was done through gut and go legislation on the last day of the legislative session.
