Leavenworth County Commissioner Mike Stieben had a “tailgate tour” which included a meeting held at the Leavenworth County Annex in Tonganoxie. Roughly 60 residents showed up and learned that there was a data center proposed for 1,000 acres of Tailgate Ranch, which is to the East of County Road 1 in Tonganoxie. Most residents were unaware of the data center proposal or the related SB98 legislation.
